My Crafting Philosophy

All of my products are either historical Scottish reproductions or match period cultural motifs. Neo-Celtic is a term used for my original designs inspired by ancient Celtic metalwork from the Le Tene and Hallstatt periods. I have also recreated Pictish rock carvings into handcrafted jewelry, including brooches and cloak chains. Their zoomorphic depictions of serpents, Kelpies, and double-headed dragons are so unique that I couldn't resist creating a Kilt pin and a Luckenbooth.

Keeping these amazing designs alive is my passion; I hope you find something that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Silver bracelet with intricate floral designs and a central purple stone.

First and foremost, I am a "One Man Show"; everything on this website, including my Celtic metalwork and handcrafted jewelry, was created by me. Many of the products are cast to maintain consistent quality and to produce enough for the website... I still had to make the originals.

I strive to make all of my products "Heirloom Quality." What I mean by that is a piece of jewelry that can be handed down through the generations. The arm cuff I wear every day has been on my wrist for 22 years and still looks great. Unlike commercial jewelry, which is made with minimal amounts of silver, gold, or bronze—just enough to make the sale—my pieces, including historical Scottish reproductions, are made to last. If they are ever damaged, they can be repaired rather than thrown away.

More than once, I've been told that I should make my brooches or bracelets thinner to save money, but I continue to ignore those suggestions.

Once you hold a piece of my handcrafted jewelry, it will be obvious that you're holding something that will last... it has to if I put my name on it! That's my pledge. Whether it's a Kilt pin or a Luckenbooth, you can trust in the quality of my work.
